John Stout Obituary
John Clayton Stout, lifelong resident of Brown County, Ohio went to be with the Lord in the early morning on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his residence with peace in his heart. He was born to the late Beryl and Mary (Edenfield) Stout on August 15, 1937 with farming in his blood. John had an amazing memory and was extremely witty and sharp even till the morning of his departure. He recalled planting his crop at age 9 and prepared his last field of hay in June 2024. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and worked 30 years for Duke Energy as a lineman while also farming sometimes over 1,000 acres with his farming partner, Ralph Kissick. John was a faithful member of the Bible Baptist Church in Mt. Orab, Ohio, where he served for many years in the capacity of treasurer and deacon. He was best known for his contagious laugh, generous spirit and quiet wisdom. John had a love for John Deere tractors and raising cattle, but most of all, he loved his wife and family and e
